The volume rocker and the power keys stand placed on the phone’s right edge, while its MicroUSB port is placed at the bottom with the speakers. Compact and elegant – these words define the Micromax Canvas Xpress 2.  The screen sports 720×1280 pixel resolution with 294 pixels per inch density.  The 2,500mAh battery lends meat to the budget ware that is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM. Users will be happy with 8GB internal storage taht can be expanded to 32GB using a microSD card. Support for 3G and dual-SIM are better add ons that boost the value of the Micromax baby. Of course, the Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 runs on Android 4.4.2 and this is a lowdown given that most low budget smartphones sport Android 5.0. As for the shutter story on the Canvas Xpress 2, we love the 13MP primary camera but the selfie cam is not great at 2MP. The snaps are high res but there are issues with crispness and sharpness. Performance wise, the phone is superb for video playback and music foe short spans but heavy games take a toll on load times on this Micromax ware. However, for light internet browsing and the like, the Xpress baby sails you smoothly through!
