How to block a number on iPhone?
There are four apps on an iPhone where you can block phone numbers and email-ids. The steps to block numbers and ids are similar. Also, you need to block someone just once on any of these apps and they will be blocked all across other apps as well. When you open your Phone app, you will see a list of your contacts. Tap on the ‘i’ button next to the contact. At the bottom of the screen, you will see an option ‘Block This Caller. Simply click on it and the caller will be blocked. The steps are similar if you want to block someone on FaceTime or Messages. If you want to block someone on the Mail, all you have to do is open the message from the sender. Just click on the email address and then click on ‘Block this Contact’. Keep in mind, if you use Outlook or Gmail you will have to block the sender again in those apps.
Can you unblock someone?
So, let’s assume you need to unblock someone out of necessity, or maybe you change your mind. So, is it possible to do that?Yes, of course. Do not worry about losing your blocked contacts forever. Simply go to the Settings on your phone. The Blocked Contact Settings are the same on Phone, Messages, and FaceTime. It means you can unblock a contact on any of these three apps, and it will also be unblocked from the other too. The Mail has a different option to unblock someone. It will show as a Blocked option. Once someone is blocked the call from them goes to Voicemail. If they leave a message, it will straight away go to the Blocked Messages section of your phone. If you blocked someone’s email address, the emails from that address will go to the trash folder. You will not receive any messages or calls. The sender won’t know you have blocked them.
