The Display The round edges and sleek design make it easy to hold in one hand while the 5.2 incher screen is a letdown in the age of gigantic screens. The 1080×1920 px display is decent since it comes in Super AMOLED variety. The HD feature makes for crisp viewing angles and great color resolution for the screen. The Processor And Camera In fact, the overall appeal also reminds us of the Apple iPhone 6. The metal-glass body ups its class. The Vivo X5 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor that accounts for decent speed but really disappoints given that we have to pay Rs. 25K+ for the Vivo ware. The dual SIM slot is an added advantage with this much let down on cards. The full HD camera comes at 13 MP while the selfie snapper coffers average quality at 8 MP. 2 GB RAM offers fast booting but the internal memory again, is just too little at 16 GB onboard. However, this is expandable up to 128 GB. Performance Sagas The Vivo X5 Pro has its own skin for the version of Android 5.0, called the Fun Touch OS. While this is an effort to replicate iOS, this barely comes even close. The icons, fonts and menu styles are similar but the app drawer is missing here. This, therefore, leads to a lot of clutter on the home pages. The handset does not hang up while viewing videos or even while playing games but we did experience some overheating while playing Angry Birds 2. As for the battery life, it is only very average with 2450 mAh onboard. It lasted about 8 and half hours while we viewed videos, browsed the internet as well as the usual social media usage. Final Word For all this, we believe that the pricing is a tad high but it does give budget customers a means to have an iOS-fed style phone in tow. Yet, we believe there are good enough phones from Lenovo, Yu and Xiaomi in this segment at lesser prices.
