This service program is aimed at resolving software, hardware and accessory related issues by making home visits. Upon calling them, the software issues can be taken care of within an hour. However, if there is any hardware issue, the product would be picked up and delivered within five working days after reparation. One can book the service by calling +911141717124 during the pilot phase. One would need to shell out Rs. 199 per service. Motorola mentioned that the company would continue providing other customer care services as it is doing now. The company has also added that it has 160 service centers in India. Moreover, in March it has also opened Moto Care center in Bengaluru. During the launch of Moto G, 3rd Gen smartphone last month in India, the company declared that it is considering setting up a manufacturing unit here to take advantage of the ever growing demand for smartphones. Marcus Frost, Senior Marketing Director Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa told PTI, “Evaluation is going on… We will have news soon,” on being asked about its plan to start manufacturing in India. He declined to divulge any further information.
