The Surface Laptop Go 2 is available in a new colour variant which includes Gray/Green, a “sage” colour. Also, there has been an improvement in the battery life. Previously, the rated battery life was 13 hours and now it is 13.5 hours. Microsoft confirmed that the Surface Laptop Go 2 has several replaceable components, including the display, battery, keyboard, and trackpad. Along with this, the company said that the laptop has “quieter, improved thermals that make it easier to focus”, and it features an “improved HD camera”. Price of Surface Laptop Go 2
All the Surface Laptop Go models come with a similar Intel Core i5 processor. However, there is a difference in the price range as per RAM and storage configurations available on different models. As mentioned above, the starting price for the consumer model with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage is $599.99. The 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage model is priced at $699.99 and the 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage model is available for $799.99. Also, note that the commercial models are $100 more than the consumer models.
Why and when Surface Laptop Go was released?
Back in 2020, the original Surface Laptop Go was released and there is not much difference between the previous model and the latest updated model. Microsoft released Surface Laptop Go to compete with Chromebook and had a small 12.4-inch touch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 1536 x 1024-pixel resolution.
