Although, no official announcement has been made by Apple, yet latest rumors suggest that the Cupertino Calif.-based firm is rolling the device towards the Indian market soon. A report by BGR India says, “Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 5 in India on the last Friday of this month, which happens to be October 26”. The site also indicates that Apple will distribute its latest device via Apple Stores instead of teaming up with other Indian carriers. If rumors are to be believed, the iPhone 5 will cost around ₹44,500 for the 16GB version, same as what 4S was launched with. Apple has already slashed down the prices of iPhone 4S and 4, prior to the launch of iPhone 5. However, online shopping sites such as eBay are selling the device in the country at a price as high as ₹1,00,000 for the 64GB model.
