As Instagram users we are often curious to know who have seen and saved our posts or which ones have turned out to be the popular ones. One feature that Instagram possesses is that of saving posts you like. But what about the posts that you put up and how do you know who all have seen and saved them to see them later? Isn’t it some kind of invasion of privacy? While some users like this feature, other dread it. Yet other are curious to know who liked their popular posts. If you too are curious to know this, check out the steps below as a guide to how to see who saved your Instagram post.
Is it Possible to See who Saved Your Post?
For those who feel this feature of Instagram is an invasion of privacy, here is a bit of good news. For, it’s true that Instagram allows you to see how many people liked and saved your post, whether you have a public or a private account. However, in reality it is not possible to see exactly who saved your posts. It may also happen that you save someone’s post that you liked but cannot find it or access it when you go to see it later. You can definitely see how many people saved your video or post by changing your account to a Creator or Business one. You cannot access the feature with a personal account. In order to switch to a Business Account you need to go to your profile settings and simply tap ‘Switch on to a Business Profile’. You will need to login with your Facebook login id and password and you will be led to a page that gives you all the information stored in your Facebook account. You will also have to provide one contact number for a Business account on Instagram. When your account becomes a Business one, you can straight on go to ‘insights’ which will give you an insight into your posts.
How to See Who Saved Your Instagram Post?
In reality, even if you have a Business account, you will never be able to see who saved your posts on Instagram. The Privacy policy of the app does not allow anyone to be notified when someone else saves his or her post. It goes against the privacy of the app that ensures that its users’ privacy is not encroached upon by revealing who has saved one’s post. Even if you save someone’s post or video or picture, that person will not be notified that you had saved his or her post. Therefore, you can save all the pictures and videos you want to add to your collection. There is no way that anyone will know that you have saved his or her post and vice versa as none of the identities will be revealed ever. If still you are really curious to know who all saved your post, ask your followers through Instagram directly.
