Instagram gets dark mode for iOS 13 and Android 10
The Instagram dark mode has come up with major UI changes to the Instagram app. The usual white background can now be changed to the dark shades. The dark shade is battery efficient especially with the phones having OLED screen. The latest Instagram dark mode doesn’t have any toggle switch to switch between the dark mode and light modes like YouTube and Twitter. This feature automatically syncs your’s device dark mode. That is, when you turn on the dark mode on your device, it will automatically be reflected on your Instagram app. It’s being said that the latest dark mode feature will only work on the devices running on Android 10 and iOS 13.
How to enable dark mode in Instagram on
Android and iOS
First of all, update your Instagram app to the latest version from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Now turn on the dark mode on your device by choosing the device theme from light to dark. What’s new in Instagram Dark Mode?
Instagram looks very refreshing and attractive in the dark mode. The background has a jet black color with a white text outline. The stories have the app’s default pink, red and orange accents in the icon. Notifications have the same red color as before. Those who do not have the Android 10 and iOS 13 devices will have to wait for some time to enjoy this Instagram dark mode. It’s good news for iPhone users as Apple has pushed the iOS 13 update to all the devices starting from iPhone SE till iPhone 11. They can enjoy this feature more easily.
