The crisp script based on the relationship between mother and daughter is heart-warming yet so realistic. Mind you, if you are a hard core feminist and love to character assassinate, then this show isn’t for you! It is a fun and frothy series. With little hints of emotions, the six episode series is slyly marked by light humour and mild bewilderment over the struggles of a rich fashion designer and demands right amount of eye-rolling and hand-wringing. Every episode takes us through Masaba’s journey – how she negotiates her way through the sticky mess created by nobody but herself. From divorce and its fallout to Masaba returning to her mother, the episodes are more than acting! And then we have the National Award Winning actor, Neena Gupta, at the age of 60, struggling to find good work.
